A significant portion of our library is generated by users. The primary advantage is that the plant database is growing rapidly, and thanks to the diligent community, we can already offer information on over 4.000 varieties. However, one drawback is that errors may occasionally creep in. This typically happens not out of malice but because users inadvertently enter a variety twice or under a slightly different name.

We're continually collaborating with our Fryd moderation team to rectify such errors and enhance the database's quality. Here's how you can pitch in:

  • Check if a species already exists before creating it.
  • Ensure it's assigned to the correct species.
  • If you come across incorrect data for a plant, propose changes on its details page.
  • Consider becoming a member of our volunteer moderation team.
